Bunk Life

Camp Arrow Wood is currently comprised of 22 cabins housed in 11 structures, as well as four lakeside lodges – arranged in a U-shaped pattern creating a quad-like feel. Bunks house 6-10 campers and 2-3 counselors. Newly renovated cabins and lodges have large front porches, interior bathrooms with showers and incredible views of Richmond Pond.
Bunk time is time for bonding, building memories and being together.

Surrounded by mature trees and native vegetation, Camp Arrow Wood is set on a beautiful 218-acre freshwater pond, ideal for swimming, lake time, boating, waterskiing, and Standup Paddleboarding. A beautiful lakeside dining hall, performance barn and rec center add useable indoor spaces to the camp property.

2022 will be a year of improvements at Arrow Wood including 2 New Basketball Courts, 4 New Tennis Courts, a New Golf Area and renovated Heath Center and Kitchen. Future improvements include a new baseball/softball complex, renovated fields and a state-of-the-art field house!

Total Health

At Camp Arrow Wood we take the overall health of our campers and staff very seriously. When we say total health, we mean in mind, body, and spirit. Our newly remodeled health center will be staffed by doctors, nurses, and athletic trainers, but that’s just part of the overall picture. We are well aware of the mental health issues faced by the modern child and are committed to equipping our staff with the best knowledge, tools, and processes to work with and support our campers.

Our goal is to achieve happiness – however, that is defined for your child – and that starts with our total health approach.

Arrow Wood is a 12-minute drive to Berkshire Medical Center, a level two trauma center, and an hour drive to Albany Medical Center, a level one trauma center.
